A hands-on approach to teaching AI

Here’s the problem

Artificial intelligence is everywhere. New tools, new features, new advice…arriving faster than most people can process or apply. The problem isn’t lack of tools: it’s too much information and too little clarity.

For many, the AI challenge is knowing what to ignore, what to trust, and what actually matters in their context.

At Mindshifts, Practical AI means reducing information overload and focusing on what is useful. We start from real work, real decisions, and real needs…then use AI thoughtfully to support clarity, understanding, and performance.

Our four-step process

1- Understanding your context

We start by understanding your real environment: roles, goals, constraints, and existing ways of working. This helps separate what is relevant from what is merely interesting.

AI only becomes useful when it is grounded in a clear context.

2- Narrowing the scope

Next, we focus on the decisions, tasks, or learning moments where AI could provide real support to you.

Rather than covering many possibilities, we narrow the scope to a small number of high-value processes that align with your goals.

3- Proposing a plan

We a propose a training plan that reflects your context, needs and learning goals. We’re happy to adjust wherever you need.

This makes sure our training is genuinely helpful and not just another information fest.

4- Hands on delivery

Whether you chose a 1 hour training or a 2-day workshop, we will deliver a learning experience that prioritizes AI clarity and application: hands-on practice, guided examples, or structured workflows…always tied to real situations.

The emphasis: building confidence and judgment, not just familiarity.
